IRA Rollover/Qualified Retirement

IRA distributions can be used to make gifts and meet your required minimum distributions without counting as taxable income if you are age 70½ or older. Contact the Nebraska 4-H Foundation to learn more or to make your tax-wise gift.

Donate stock

Appreciated stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and CD’s are all welcome gifts. These gift also have the benefit of being tax-deductible. The Nebraska 4-H Foundation sells the securities and is not subject to tax on the gain; applying the full amount of your gift. Gift in Your Will

This can be one of the simplest ways to make a meaningful gift. Designate a specific dollar amount or percentage of your estate to the Nebraska 4-H Foundation. If you already have a Will or Trust, your attorney can prepare a simple codicil or trust amendment to make a gift to the Nebraska 4-H Foundation. Contact the Nebraska 4-H Foundation to learn more.

United Way

Every year, millions of employees get involved in workplace giving campaigns to support local United Way solutions that improve education, financial stability, and health. The workforce campaign is about more than raising money for worthy causes; it also strengthens connections between employees and their community. Contact your local United Way office for the 4-H Fund number to designate your workplace gift.

Community Services Fund runs workplace giving campaigns in businesses and nonprofits of all sizes. Workplace giving is a fun, easy way for employees to give back to the causes they care about most through payroll deduction. See if your employer is a current worksite and setup your payroll deduction in support of the Nebraska 4-H Foundation.
