Inspire kids to do by volunteering with Nebraska 4-H! If you like working with youth and enjoy giving back to your community, Nebraska 4-H might be a great volunteer fit for you. Nebraska 4-H invites you to make a difference in the life of a young person. 4-H is known for hands-on learning experiences and helping youth build confidence and practical life skills.
Nebraska 4-H offers a wide variety of involvement opportunities for adult volunteers, including helping with a one-time event or program, helping a summer-long program, sharing a skill with a 4-H member, helping with an afterschool program, assisting with or leading a 4-H club, teaching a workshop, helping at the local county fair, coordinating a community service project, mentoring a new 4-H family, or serving on 4-H Council. All Nebraska 4-H volunteers must complete a screening process before beginning their role. Some volunteer roles also require additional screening or training.
