Our Response to COVID-19
In Nebraska, we are facing an extraordinary moment in our history, one that’s bringing disruption to our daily lives; that of our children and grandchildren.
The Nebraska 4-H Foundation’s work continues as we work hand in hand with the Nebraska 4-H Youth Development Program to expand and support the mission. We empower youth to reach their full potential, working and learning in partnership with caring adults. We envision a world in which youth and adults learn, grow, and work together as catalysts for positive change by growing true leaders.
If there is anything this pandemic has revealed, it’s how interconnected we all are. While this makes us vulnerable to a virus, it’s that same connectedness that will see us through to our recovery. In the same way that 4-H Youth Development strengthens our state, Nebraskans are people who believe in something bigger than themselves.
You are part of our Nebraska 4-H family.
Whether we are meeting emerging local needs or piloting new efforts, Nebraska 4-H continues to grow strong leaders who are prepared with the skills needed to handle the problems of today and the challenges of tomorrow. Our true leaders are young people who have confidence, independence, resilience and compassion.
With your help, we recognize high achieving youth leaders with awards, scholarships and trips. We offer financial assistance for high need individuals through our 4-H’ers Helping 4-H’ers Fund. We partner with youth serving organizations to develop innovative programs. We help create community in rural, urban and online settings.
We are continuing to do this important work.
We are not taking a pause.
We are building strategies to become even stronger.
