Supporting Nebraska 4-H Camp
Scholarships:
We believe that every young life should be enriched by the camp experience, and we want to make camp an opportunity for all youth.
With the support of our donors, we are able to offer a limited number of camp scholarships to support the participation of young people at the Nebraska 4-H Summer Camps. A limited number of scholarships are available for multi-day camps. If you have a camper in need of financial support we welcome your request.
Camp Scholarships must be awarded prior to registration. Any scholarships awarded after the registration process will not be applied to current registrations.

If you are interesting in supporting youth and offsetting the cost of camp, please consider a gift to the camp scholarship fund. You can donate online through the Nebraska 4-H Foundation or mail your gift. We appreciate your investment.

Outdoor Education and Camping:
Each year, hundreds of students and their teachers from schools across Nebraska participate in hands-on, engaging environmental education programs and experiences at the Nebraska State 4-H Camp.
Environmental education is typically held during the months of September through November and March through May. These programs and experiences:
- use the outdoors as a stimulus for the appreciation of previously acquired skills, including the areas of reading and language arts, science, mathematics, art, health, physical education, and social studies.
- teach an appreciation, understanding, and awareness of the natural world by studying and interacting with that world.
- separate kids from their everyday setting in order to give them an opportunity to express new aspects of their personalities, achieve increased self-esteem, and gain a new perspective on how to relate to their peers.
Outdoor education and camping is an integral part of a young person’s learning environment, growth and development. Schools often are unable to afford the cost of a full day and/or an overnight at our facility. If you are interested in investing in Outdoor Education and camping, we would be grateful for your gift.
